Awilco Heavy Transport Takes Delivery of the Willift Eagle

Awilco Heavy Transport has taken delivery of its first heavy transportation vessel, from Remontowa shipyard in Gdansk, Poland.

Willift Eagle is now enroute to US Gulf of Mexico to pick up its first cargo. The initial cargo contract is estimated to approximately 60 days (round-voyage basis), with estimated revenues of approximately US $70,000 per day T/C equivalent.

Due to the deferred delivery from the shipyard the LOI for the next voyage previously announced has been cancelled, however two more LOI's have been secured at higher levels. The average dayrate from today through to early March 2007 is estimated to be approximately US $75,000 per day.
