Jacobs Awarded Oil Sands Project

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has received a contract to support Canadian Natural Resources Limited's development of the Horizon Oil Sands Project in Northern Alberta, Canada. Officials estimate the value of the Horizon Oil Sands Project between $3.4 billion and $5.1 billion.
Jacobs is executing the design work on the support facilities for the bitumen upgrader. In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Phil Stassi stated, "Jacobs is extremely gratified to be part of CNRL's world class oil sands project. We look forward to a long and successful relation with CNRL, and we will work hard to exceed their expectations."
