Mexico Will Maintain Current Export Levels



Non-OPEC member Mexico has decided to maintain its current oil export quota of 1.66 million barrels per day, in accordance with OPEC's announcement on quotas yesterday. The Mexican government said in a statement that it has decided independently, "in its own national interests and in the interests of the global oil market", to maintain its daily export quota of 1.66 million barrels during the third quarter of the year.
