Superior Names Lane International Manager

Superior Energy Services has named Ashley Mark Lane international manager. He will be based at Superior's Broussard campus.

Lane has been with Superior for nearly five years, most recently as the international manager for Stabil Drill, a Superior company offering downhole tools.

"With more than 26 years of international sales and operations experience, Lane understands the international arena as well as the customers who play in that arena," said Guy Cook, executive vice president of Superior's Rental Tools.

Lane's new responsibilities will include developing and overseeing all aspects of Superior's corporate business development, sales and marketing worldwide. He will also coordinate all international inquiries that cross product/service lines.

"Lane is a creative thinker, excellent communicator and is committed to working with all of Superior's subsidiaries and divisions to achieve the company's vision of geographic expansion," said Cook.

Before joining Superior, Lane founded Drilling Logistics. Under his leadership, the company established annual sales of $7 million within two years. The company, which was purchased by Stabil Drill in 2001, had offices in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

Superior Energy Services, headquartered in Harvey, La., is the industries leading provider of specialized oilfield services and equipment focusing on production, intervention, workover, well services and rental tools.
