PTSC Wins $70 Million Contract from Talisman
Petroleum Technical Services Company (PTSC), a subsidiary of PetroVietnam has signed a US $70 million oil and gas contract with Talisman Malaysia Limited.
The project’s scope includes engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction of three topsides of three wellhead riser platforms with a total fabrication tonnage of approximately 3,000 tons.
The Bunga Orkid/Parka Development Project is an important component of Malaysia’s Northern Field. Completion of the project is scheduled within the next 12 months.
The signing of the contract will mark a substantial leap forward in PTSC’s competitiveness within the regional market, said president of PTSC Thai Quoc Hiep at the signing ceremony in Hanoi on Monday.
With Vietnam close to joining the WTO, this project will exhibit the potential for further co-operation in the oil and gas industries between Vietnam and Malaysia, added Hiep.
