Dragon Oil Says LAM Workover Program Going Well

Dragon has successfully completed the workover of Well L86/86 on the LAM Field, in the Cheleken Contract Area, offshore Turkmenistan.

Well L86/86, located on the LAM 86 platform, was completed in Zones 4, 5 and 6, and was tested at an initial rate of 1,287 barrels of oil per day ('bopd'). Prior to the workover, the well was not on production.

A hydraulic workover unit ('HWU') was used to conduct the job, and the HWU will now be mobilized to conduct the next workover in the program. It is planned to continue the workover program using a combination of rigless methods and the HWU.

Hussain M. Sultan, Chairman and CEO of Dragon commented:
'I am pleased with the result of the LAM 86/86 workover, and we will continue with the workover program as planned.'
