The 3-year contract, worth approximately £10 million, includes both engineering and operational support and follows on from the previous contract held by JPK since 2001. JPK has recently begun work on a number of engineering workscopes for the Machar field, along with a feasibility study for a new development in the Central North Sea.
"We are extremely pleased with this contract award which continues to develop our working relationship with BP both in the North Sea and on a global basis," said Gary Webster, operations director for JPK. "JPK's commitment to performance, safety and people played a significant role in securing this contract."
