Paraguay, PDVSA Outline E&P Timetable
The mines and energy department of Paraguay's public works ministry and Venezuela's state oil company PDVSA have drafted a timetable to study the exploration and production of crude in Paraguay, the ministry said in a statement.
Ministry and company officials will prepare a preliminary database of existing basin information from August 2006-July 2007, followed by data reprocessing.
Basins targeted in a first stage include Curuguaty, Carandayty and Pirity in Chaco department.
PDVSA technicians will help review and classify existing data in Paraguay and complete the reprocessing in Venezuela.
