ANP also postponed the tender to June 29 from June 28, the statement said.
Of the seven fields removed from the tender, two were in the in the Potiguar basin and five in the Espirito Santo basin.
Up to June 23, 46 companies had registered to bid in the tender by paying the 500-real (US$225) fee to obtain access to data on the fields.
Three of the 46 companies registered are foreign. Brazil's federal energy company Petrobras (NYSE: PBR) has registered, although it has given up some of the mature fields it held in recent years reportedly due to lack of interest.
