The UK government has granted approval for development of a new North Sea gas field, Viscount, which was discovered last August by Conoco. The field is expected to produce 150 billion cubic feet of gas in the next 10 years. The field is expected to produce approximately 150 billion cubic feet of gas over the next ten years and is located 50 miles off the Norfolk coast. It will be connected via a new pipeline that eventually feeds into the LOGGS pipe, coming ashore at the Theddlethorpe terminal. First gas is expected this November from the 64 million pound ($93.24 million) project.
