La Pampa E&P Tender Attracts 4 Offers

Four offers have been submitted to Argentina's La Pampa province to explore and develop the 100 sq km Medanito Sur hydrocarbons area, the provincial government reported.

The bidders were Raiser-Energia Argentina, which offered a 41.5% production share starting in the sixth year, Oil M&S with 32.1%, Petrolifera Petroleum America with 29.1% and Gregorio Numo-Noel Werthstein-Petrosiel-Energial with 28.3%.

The offers exceed current contract royalties paid by the province and will "surely impact" the national oil sector, governor Carlos Alberto Verna said.

The province expects to issue a decision on July 25.
