BP reports that exports through its pipeline to the Black Sea port of Supsa were restored late Wednesday after a leak had been repaired. "The Baku-Supsa pipeline is now working and oil is being pumped through the line at a rate of 140,000 barrels a day, which also includes oil that had been stored up at the Sangachal terminal over the past few days," said Tamam Bayatly, spokeswoman for the Azerbaijan International Operating Co.
Monday, AIOC halted exports of 114,500 barrels per day through the pipeline, after thieves damaged a section of the line in Georgia. Production at AIOC's Chirag offshore oil field was also halted.
