RigNet Builds More Momentum with Management Team Expansion
RigNet, Inc. announced key leadership appointments to its management team to help supervise and direct its rapid worldwide growth.
Lars Eliassen was promoted to vice president Americas, and will be responsible for the North and South American regions. Mr. Eliassen has served in marketing and operations management positions since he joined RigNet in 2002. Prior to RigNet, he was the director of marketing for Production Access and general manager of ADB Systems, both software companies in the energy industry.
Alan Frost joins RigNet as vice president of central operations and will be responsible for the Company's global engineering teams, network operations and provisioning. Mr. Frost has over 30 years experience in the oil field telecommunications industry. He joins RigNet from YR20, a telecom consulting firm where he was co-founder and executive vice president. Prior to YR20, Mr. Frost worked with Diverse Networks, CapRock and Schlumberger.
Curtis McGee also joins RigNet as vice president, business development. He will be working closely with RigNet's regional vice presidents and sales teams to drive new opportunities around the globe. Mr. McGee comes to RigNet with over 26 years of oil and gas experience with such companies as Amoco, Baker Hughes and Impact Selector. He has held sales, marketing, operations, management and business development positions around the world including Canada, India, China, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Kuwait, Tunisia, Italy, Norway as well as the United States.
