The purchase is the gateway for HB Rentals to market its tools and services to the Rocky Mountain region, one of the fastest-growing markets in the oil and gas industry, explained HB Rentals President Maurice Bledsoe.
HB Rentals brings products not previously offered by Riverview, including generators and water and sewer treatment systems. Its service coverage will soon be broadened to more fully cover Wyoming, and reach into Colorado, Utah, and parts of Montana and Washington.
To accomplish these expansion goals, HB Rentals will not only retain all employees and managers working at the Riverton location, but plans to add more qualified personnel to the current staff of about 20 people. Andy Davidson remains general manager of the facility for HB, and Jim Bolding, formerly Riverview CFO, continues as business manager.
Riverview Rentals is a 23-year-old provider of approximately 100 living quarter units and accessories. Its four-acre complex of office and warehouse space has resources to store, renovate, customize, manage and store a large fleet of lodging and transportation assets.
HB Rentals provides the energy production industry with comfortable, safe and functional living accommodations and accessories for onshore and offshore job sites. With more than 30 years of experience in the field, HB built a reputation for providing high quality, cost-effective lodging solutions and is trusted by some of the largest producers in the world.
HB, based in Broussard, La., currently has locations in Houston, Alice, Alvin, Decatur, Fairfield, and Midland, Texas; El Reno, Okla., and its rental fleet is also available outside the U.S. in Mexico and Trinidad.
