Canadian Imperial Awarded Garden Hill Lease

The Minister of Mines and Energy has awarded Canadian Imperial Venture Corp. a Lease for Garden Hill Oil and Gas Development on the Port au Port Peninsula, Western Newfoundland. The Lease is the first ever awarded under the Petroleum Regulations of Newfoundland and Labrador.
The Lease covers an area of approximately 33,000 acres along a prospective fault-bounded inversion fairway on the Port au Port Peninsula and includes the Port au Port No. 1 discovery well and development lands.
