Argentina's Mendoza province will tender 13 hydrocarbons blocks from June-December this year, the provincial government said in a statement.

The province will launch the first tender round on June 26 for the Abarcara Tordillos Oeste and Nancunan blocks in the Cuyana basin as well as the Chachahuen and Rio Atuel blocks in the Neuquen basin, the statement said.

The second tender round will take place on September 15 for the San Rafael and General Alvear blocks in Cuyana and the Río Diamante, Payun Oeste, and Coiron blocks in Neuquen.

The third round will be on December 14 and includes the Pampa del Sebo and Zampal Norte blocks in Cuyana as well as the Cerro de los Leones and Malargue blocks in Neuquen.

The province has 47 million cubic meters of crude and 15 billion cubic meters of gas reserves, both of which could last nine years, the statement said.

Winning bidders must hire at least 75% of its workforce from the province and give priority to local oil service companies.
