The Thylacine South-1 well, located approximately 2 kilometers south of the Otway well-head platform, with surface location in production license T/L2, was spudded on March 17, 2006. The well was drilling ahead at end of quarter, targeting an exploration prospect in T/30P. Subsequent to the end of quarter, the well reached a total depth of 3,245 meters and encountered a gross section of approximately 223 meters (true vertical depth) of gas saturated sandstones. The significance of these results is being evaluated.
