Willbros Reports the Release of Five Additional Employees

Willbros Group has confirmed the release of five additional workers taken hostage on February 18 from a Willbros vessel working in Nigeria. The freed workers, Egyptians Shazly Ali and Fisal Bardese, Filipino Anthony Santos, and Thais Somsak Mhadmho and Arak Suwanna had been held for eleven days by separatists in Nigeria. Willbros reported that the Company has made arrangements for them to rejoin their respective families.

The Company thanked the authorities with which it worked closely to secure the safe return of these employees and is continuing to support the efforts to secure the safe return of its three remaining employees.
