Bruce Crager Appointed CEO of INTEC Engineering

Heerema Holding and the Supervisory Board of INTEC announce that effective February 14, 2006, Bruce Crager is appointed Chief Executive Officer of INTEC Engineering, based in Houston, Texas.

Bruce brings over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He was president of ABB Offshore Systems Inc, and previously senior vice president of Oceaneering International Inc, with responsibilities for mobile offshore production systems. Bruce has held several other senior positions related to worldwide marketing and the manufacture of subsea products. For the last two years, Bruce has been an independent consultant for a number of operators and suppliers in the oil and gas industry. His background with floating production systems, subsea equipment, offshore drilling, consulting and managing offshore operations around the world will enhance the strong capabilities of the existing INTEC team.

Bruce graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in ocean engineering and an MBA from the University of Houston.

Bruce takes over from John Reed, who was appointed CEO of Heerema Marine Contractors (HMC) recently. After a handover-period to ensure a smooth transition, John will move to The Netherlands to continue his career with HMC.

We are very pleased that Bruce Crager is joining our company and brings his knowledge and experience to strengthen the INTEC organization going forward. We congratulate Bruce with this appointment and wish him success in his career within the Heerema Group.
