Antrim Energy Drills Third Successful Well in Argentina
Antrim Energy has drilled and cased Las Violetas 104, the third well in Antrim's multi-well drilling program in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina.
Based on logging results, the well encountered at least a five-meter net pay interval in the target zone, the Cretaceous Springhill Formation. It is expected that LV-104 will be flow tested and completed as a production well before the end of January 2006.
The drilling rig used to drill LV-104 is moving to the fourth location in the program at Los Patos 1003. Drilling operations at LP-1003 are expected to commence within the next week.
Antrim Energy has a 25.78% working interest in three producing exploitation concessions in Tierra del Fuego, located on the southern tip of Argentina in a special income tax free/duty free trading zone.
