Marauder Resources and its partner, EnCana, have decided to sidetrack the Dominion J-14 well offshore Nova Scotia. In late December, it was reported that the Dominion J-14 well, located on the Grand Pre block did not encounter natural gas. The side track well will test additional zones in the Abenaki reef marking formation, the location of the Deep Panuke natural gas discovery.

The Rowan Gorilla VI is expected to be on location through the end of January.
