DeepOcean Extends Charter on MV Multraship Commander

DeepOcean has exercised its option to extend its charter on the DP1 survey vessel MV Multraship Commander for a period of one year with a further one year option.

The vessel will be employed to carry out acoustic pipeline inspection, cable & pipeline route survey and geotechnical investigations. The vessel will also be equipped with ROV capability on a project basis.

DeepOcean has just completed a successful geotechnical campaign using the Multraship Commander on behalf of Total in the Dutch sector of the North Sea and confirms it has already contracted the vessel to Wintershall, Total, PetroCanada and CH4 Energy in support of their 2006 pipeline inspection campaigns.

DeepOcean has become a recognized market leader in the provision of IMR (Inspection, Maintenance and Repair) and subsea intervention services to oil & gas operators and contracting companies' alike.
