Gas Sales Begin from Ladyfern
Canadian Natural Resources Limited announces that the construction and commissioning of the Ladyfern Sales natural gas pipeline from the Ladyfern field to the TransCanada PipeLines Limited Owl Lake South meter station in Alberta has been completed. The 20", 7.5 mile Ladyfern Sales line has a capacity of 600 million cubic feet per day, and came onstream March 8, 2002.
The pipeline is operated by Canadian Natural with a 39.4486% interest; Murphy Oil Company Ltd. holds14.4578%; Kaiser Energy Ltd. holds 11.6883%; Devon Canada Corporation holds 9.3233%; Talisman Energy Inc. holds 8.3333%; Alberta Energy Company Ltd. holds 7.2289%; Apache Canada Ltd. holds 6.7420%; Grey Wolf Exploration Inc. holds the remaining 2.7778%.
As a result of the commissioning of the Ladyfern Sales Pipeline, Canadian Natural's natural gas production from the Ladyfern pool has increased from approximately 175 million cubic feet per day to approximately 215 million cubic feet per day.
