DNO Runs Into Problems Testing Nabrajah #8

DNO says the Nabrajah #8 well in Block 43 in Yemen has been drilled to a total depth of 3,065 meters of which 952 meters is basement section. The well is now being tested in basement by use of an electrical submersible pump.

The test started yesterday and at the reporting time the well has failed to flow. DNO is currently investigating the operational integrity of the test including the possibility of a mechanical failure.

The participants in Block 43 are DNO as operator with 56.67%; Oil Search (Yemen) with 23.88% and The Yemen Company with a 15% carried interest.
