FX Energy Sees 157% Increase in Revenues

FX Energy (Nasdaq: FXEN) has financial results for its third quarter and the first nine months of 2005. Total revenue for the quarter was $2.491 million, up 157% from revenues of $970,000 for the third quarter of 2004. The third quarter of 2005 had a net loss of $1.386 million, or $0.04 per share. This compares to a net loss of $1.405 million, or $0.05 per share, for the third quarter of 2004. As of September 30, 2005, the Company had combined cash and investments totaling $28.7 million.

Total revenue for the first nine months of 2005 was $4.382 million, up 68% from revenues of $2.608 million for the first nine months of 2004. The first nine months of 2005 had a net loss of $4.847 million, or $0.13 per share. This compares to a net loss of $10.171 million, or $0.35 per share, for the first nine months of 2004.
