Hercules Offshore Appoints New Officers
Hercules Offshore has appointed three new officers: James Noe as Vice President - General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Secretary, Leslie Taylor as Vice President - Human Resources, and Johnny Vincent as Vice President - Corporate Controller. All are assuming newly created positions at Hercules.
Mr. Noe joins Hercules with over eight years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Most recently, Mr. Noe served as Corporate Counsel for BJ Services Company, where he was responsible for a variety of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance. Previously, Mr. Noe was in private practice in New Orleans, where his practice focused on corporate and commercial issues for oil and gas companies and vessel construction contracts and claims. Mr. Noe also served as Counsel for Single Buoy Moorings, a Monaco-based company that designs, owns and operates floating production systems (FPSOs and FSOs). Mr. Noe holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, from the University of Alabama, and a Juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University.
Ms. Taylor brings over 22 years of human resources experience in the energy industry. Most recently, Ms. Taylor served as Director, Human Resources for Calpine Corporation, where she provided management support, counseling, staffing, employee relations, compensation and benefits support for various groups. Previously, Ms. Taylor worked for Columbia Energy, El Paso and JP Morgan Chase in various human resource positions. A native of Texas, Ms. Taylor is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma.
Prior to joining Hercules, Mr. Vincent served as Controller for State and Local Government Sales at Dell Inc. in Round Rock, Texas. Before joining Dell in 1999, he held finance and operations positions with Cardinal Health, Cooper Industries, and Tenneco Oil Exploration & Production. Mr. Vincent holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance and international business from the University of Texas at Austin and is a Certified Public Accountant.
