Noble Corporation Names New Chief Financial Officer
Noble says that Bruce W. Busmire, 47, will join Noble as its Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Controller effective October 1, 2005.
Busmire holds a master of business administration degree from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, and a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from Lamar University. He has 25 years of finance and accounting experience and has most recently served as Managing Director of Pickering Energy Partners, Inc., a privately-held energy research firm and member NASD/SIPC, and prior thereto as Vice President of Investor Relations at Ocean Energy, Inc., then a publicly-traded independent oil and gas company. Busmire succeeds Mark A. Jackson who was promoted from Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer to Chief Operating Officer of Noble Corporation effective March 1, 2005.
