Noble Gets Recommendation for OHSAS 18001 Certification in the North Sea

Noble Corporation reports that Det Norske Veritas (DNV) has recommended for certification all nine mobile offshore drilling units operating in the North Sea and the shore based operations located in Beverwijk, The Netherlands, Esbjerg, Denmark and Aberdeen, Scotland as conforming to the Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series OHSAS 18001. OHSAS 18001 is an international occupational health and safety management system specification designed to assist organizations in managing occupational health and safety exposure and improve performance. Noble is the first offshore drilling contractor operating in the North Sea to achieve third party certification to this standard.
