Shell Brunei Extends West Setia Contract

Shell Brunei has extended the production drilling contract for the new self-erecting semi-tender rig West Setia, which is under construction in Singapore. The contract extension has a duration of six months with an estimated contract value of US $12 million. The extension is in direct continuation of the existing contract with Shell Brunei with scheduled start-up in August 2005. West Setia has thereafter an 800-day-contract with Murphy Sabah Oil Ltd. that secures continuous employment for the new unit through 2008.
