First Gas Flows from Skene Field

First gas has flowed from the Skene field located in the UK sector of the North Sea. Production is estimated to reach 180 million cubic feet of gas per day and 95 million barrels of oil equivalent per day.

Gas production from the Skene field will be tied back to the Beryl A platform and then delivered to the St. Fergus terminal in Scotland. Oil will be combined with out put from the Beryl platform and delivered via tanker to onshore terminals. ExxonMobil is operator of the Skene field.
