A single lateral bore was then drilled from the main bore to 1,908 meters measured depth. The two well bores have given a total of 465 meters of contact with the reservoir. The well was then completed with 73 mm (2 7/8") production tubing.
A clean up flow was then conducted with final flow rates estimated to be in excess of 8.1 million cubic feet per day (mmcfd) on a 40/64 inch (16 mm) choke at a flowing surface pressure of 860 psi.
The rig will now be moved to drill the Yardarino 6 well as an appraisal of the Elegans Field as recently tested by the Corybas 1 well.
ARC has further recommended to the L14 and L1/L2 joint ventures that the next well after Yardarino 6 should be either an appraisal/development well on the Jingemia oilfield or a further appraisal of the Elegans Field (Hakia 2). The well order will be subject to timing of obtaining the requisite joint venture and regulatory approvals.
