QCI Marine Wins Accommodation Work for Etesco Millennium
QCI Marine Offshore has been awarded by Signal International the accommodations and inside electrical work on Etesco's Millennium semisub, QCI President Chris Cantele announced.
The project, to be built at Signal's Pascagoula yard, includes the build out of 5-levels of accommodations. The Etesco Millennium, under contract to Petrobras, will house 272 persons, complete with dual cinemas and swimming pool and will provide offshore platform construction and repair facilities. After completion of the work in early 2006, the vessel will travel to Brazil for use in the Campos Basin.
With offices in Houston, Texas, Pascagoula/Vancleave Mississippi and Macae, Brazil, QCI's clients include drilling contractors, shipyards, ship owners, fabrication yards, engineering companies and oil & gas companies.
Since it's inception in 1987, QCI has executed over 120 accommodation projects. QCI is a full service provider of design/engineering services, installer of joiner systems, furnishings, cabinetry, plumbing, galley equipment, electrical and HVAC. In addition QCI is the designer and builder of small accommodation modules that can be configured for staterooms and offices.
