Expro Celebrates Gold Safety Award
Expro International Group has won a prestigious RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Award 2005 as a result of its global health and safety performance over the last five years.
Corporate Development Director Colin Ainger will receive the Gold Award on behalf of the company at a special ceremony at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Birmingham on Thursday, May 19, 2005. The award is particularly significant as it relates to the health and safety performance of Expro employees in over 40 locations around the world.
The award follows submission of a comprehensive set of health and safety performance information, backed with supporting evidence of the company's progress against 10 criteria over the five-year period. This is independently evaluated by RoSPA and is judged against performance of companies in the same industry sector.
Commenting on the award, Chief Executive Officer Graeme Coutts said: "This award reflects Expro's continued improvement in health and safety performance over a sustained period. It demonstrates that we have effective health and safety management systems in place and is recognition of the tremendous effort and priority placed on safety by Expro employees worldwide."
