Knowledge Systems Names Dave Savelle to Its Board

Knowledge Systems has named Dave Savelle to its Board of Directors. Knowledge Systems' Board of Directors guides the company in executive decisions and directions.

Dave Savelle is a Mechanical Engineer who has 16 years experience in oil and gas and technology. His career began in the oilfield with a multinational cased-hole logging services company. He joined Munro Engineering in 1988 with responsibility for sales and marketing support in Canada. After three years in Calgary, Mr. Savelle opened the company's first office in Houston, where he managed US sales and marketing. Following the acquisition of Munro Engineering by Landmark Graphics Corporation, Mr. Savelle spent four years in Aberdeen and London for Landmark Graphics Corporation where he managed the drilling and production systems solutions sales and marketing support in Europe and Africa. He returned to Houston to assume the role of Director of Business Development for Drilling and Well Servicing Information Technology. After initiating Digital Oilfield's US Operations in 2000, Mr. Savelle is currently managing sales, marketing and Operations for Digital Oilfield's operations in Canada.
