The awards, which recognize outstanding excellence in the oil and gas industry, were announced on Thursday March 10th at a prestigious awards ceremony at Ardoe House Hotel, in Aberdeen.
The Most Promising Company category rewards excellence in strategic focus and vision through outstanding performance and corporate leadership. Peak's entry discussed the evolution of its strategic vision, how Peak's vision has responded to market change and how it will mature in the next five years. Peak's entry also clearly described the leadership of the company, explaining that Peak works most effectively as a performance led team.
CEO Andrew Paterson said: "In 2004, all of Peak's wells in the UKCS and other provinces achieved their objectives and were on, if not below, the budget set by the operators. We have a major plan of activity this year, including the delivery of approximately 30 wells world wide."
He continued "It's a great honor to be recognized by our peers. The judges at the awards ceremony highlighted that we have enormous potential with our unique "game-changing" approach. Winning this award reflects our successes over the last year and also, more importantly, fills me with confidence for our ambitions over the coming year."
The award winning entry concluded with an endorsement from Antrim's executive Vice President, Keith Skipper, who congratulated Peak on the work done on Antrim's behalf. He said: "It has been a truly great experience working with an outstanding team of people. We know we could not have done the work without them and that is why we hired The Peak Group."
