The contract wins for the multi-disciplined services company include Aker Verdal, McDermott Caspian Contractors in Azerbaijan, Scottish and Southern Energy and First Projects.
The Aker Verdal contract involves the design, manufacture and commission of hydraulic pin release systems on the Buzzard field in the North Sea. Whilst the refurbishment and commissioning of a saturation dive system on a diving support vessel for McDermott Caspian Contractors took place in the Caspian Sea.
Closer to home, Norson is currently refurbishing two hydraulic systems at Scottish and Southern Energy's Peterhead power station and another hydraulic system on Clachnaharry Rail Bridge in Inverness for First Projects.

Managing director, Bill Bell, comments: "During a prolonged period of down-turn in the North Sea, we actively pursued other opportunities, particularly in the power generation and transport sectors where our proven skills and expertise in hydraulic, mechanical and controls are in demand. We are delighted that so many of these have come to fruition.
"With the upturn in drilling activity in the North Sea and overseas, we are also seeing an increase in drilling and production related projects.
The company, which currently turns over £15 million and employs 140 people, has also been developing its pipeline, process and umbilical business, primarily overseas.
