ARC Energy Spuds Dongara 34 Development Well
ARC Energy Limited has spud the Dongara 34 well located in the Dongara Field in onshore Perth Basin Production License L2 in Australia.
The well is being drilled directionally from a surface location adjacent to the Dongara 31 and 32 wells to a target bottom hole location approximately 720 meters to the northeast of the surface location.
The true vertical subsea depth to the prognosed top of the primary objective Dongara Sandstone is 1,565m, (1,797m measured depth). The proposed total depth of the well is 1,820m measured depth. The well is expected to take 14 days to drill and complete.
Exectuive Director's comments: "Dongara 34 is designed to provide an "attic" drainage point in the Dongara Sandstone pool of the northern block of the Dnogara Field. There is currently no producing well in the northern block of the Dongara Field, and Dongara 34 will allow production of most of the remaining reserves as gas in the Dongara Sandstone pool in this portion of the field. The surface location of the well is adjacent to the Dongara 34 and Dongara 31/32 wells which will allow its early production though the Dongara plant."
