Northern Sun Begins Gas Production

Northern Sun Exploration Company reports that gas production from the Company's successful natural gas well near Grouard, Alberta has commenced. The well was drilled to a depth of 850 meters and is producing from the Bluesky/Gething zone at a restricted flow rate of 1.125 mmcf/day, due to available capacity in the third party facility.

Chris Cooper, President and CEO commented "Northern Sun is pleased to be producing from its first well at Kapawe'no, both for the Company and for our First Nation partners. We believe this is the start of a very successful exploration play, and we look forward to continuing our development of the area". The Company has identified several additional natural gas targets on its property near Grouard, and has begun new exploration drilling program.
