Northern Sun Exploration Company has acquired a total of six
sections of land at recent crown land sales in Alberta and Saskatchewan adding
approximately 3,840 total acres (1536 ha) to the Company's land package,
increasing the Company's total acreage. Three of the recently acquired
sections are adjoining to the Company's existing land holdings near Grouard,
Alberta, with the remaining sections located in southwestern Saskatchewan. The
Company has begun to seek the regulatory permits in order to drill the initial
prospects on the newly acquired lands.
Pipeline tie-in and facility construction in the Grouard area is
progressing, and production should commence next week.
