Craig Energy Services, which harnesses a number of Craig Group's services and exports them to emerging oil and gas markets such as the Caspian and West Africa, has won a 3 year contract with 2 one year options, to provide procurement services to its facilities in Angola. The contract could be worth as much as $12 million to the global energy services firm. The work will involve the provision of general oilfield and consumable products to ChevronTexaco's business units in Cabinda.
Newly appointed managing director of CES, Ian Anderson, says: "We are delighted to further strengthen our relationship with ChevronTexaco and this contract, operated out of our Cape Town office, will fully demonstrate our ability to provide a cost-effective, quality service as well as underlining our commitment to increasing local spend in the areas in which we operate.
"We have been considering opening an office in Angola for some time and I believe the award of this contract will bring that forward."
