Superior Energy Services Appoints Blanchard To President

Superior Energy Services has appointed Ken Blanchard as President, announced Superior's Chief Executive Officer and Chairman Terry Hall.

Blanchard will continue in his current role as Chief Operating Officer while assuming the President's role, formerly held by Hall.

Blanchard, with more than 30 years of oil and gas industry experience, has been a member of Superior's senior management team for more than 10 years. Blanchard served as Vice President prior to becoming COO in June 2002. "Ken has worked tirelessly to identify and integrate the many acquisitions we have made during the past several years and has great rapport with key operating managers," said Hall, who has worked with Blanchard since 1984. "He has been instrumental in our growth from a $12 million plug and abandonment company in 1995 to the more than $500 million diversified energy service provider we are today," he added.
