Unicorp Begins Drilling Operations on Its Kentucky Project

Unicorp has received the necessary drilling permits from the State of Kentucky and began drilling operations on its initial well of the Cecilia Prospect located in Hardin County, Kentucky. Drilling began on January 11th and it is expected that drilling should be completed to the projected depth of 1,500 feet by next week.

Kevan Casey, CEO of Unicorp, stated, "We began drilling operations on the Wright #1 well on January 11th and we should be logging the well within the next week. This is the first well of our four well commitment of the Cecilia Prospect and we are anxiously awaiting the initial results of this well."

Unicorp previously announced it and P5 Petroleum had acquired an additional 2,400 acres in the prospect area and are in discussions to acquire an additional 13,600 acres in the prospect. Current total acres owned jointly with P5 Petroleum are 9,400 acres.
