U.S. Oil & Gas Resources Logs Gas Pay with New Well

U. S. Oil and Gas Resources has tested its new well, the Laughlin McIntyre 18-13 #1, in Puckett Field, Mississippi at a rate of 2.2 million cubic feet per day on a 16/64th choke with a flowing tubing pressure of 2175 psi. Shut in tubing pressure is 3410 psi.

A new flow line from the well to the field gas sales facilities has been installed and initial sales will begin today. Following the operator's advice, the well will initially be put on line with a 9/64th choke. During a twenty-four hour test period, the well delivered gas at the rate of 1.2 million cubic feet per day with 2720 psi flowing pressure on a 9/64th choke.

A pumping unit is being set today on USR's first well, the Laughlin 18-14 A-2, and a new flow line and production facilities are being installed. It is expected that both wells will be fully on stream by January 1, 2005.

USR is excited about the results obtained thus far on its farm-in lease in Puckett Field and is looking forward to moving on a third well immediately in the new year.
