Breaker Energy Acquires Stake in Suffield Area of Alberta

Breaker Energy has signed a strategic farm-in agreement that provides Breaker with the right to explore approximately 50,000 acres of land in the Suffield area of south eastern Alberta. Breaker will also obtain access to approximately 280 km of 2D seismic and extensive facility infrastructure for both oil and gas production.

The initial commitment is for Breaker to shoot a minimum of 20 square miles of 3D seismic and drill 5 wells of varying depths by April 2005. Breaker also has continuing options to earn additional interests. The area has multi-zone oil and gas potential, in several formations from ~ 800-1300m deep.

Two separate 3D programs over the farm-in lands will commence immediately.

With the addition of this farm-in, Breaker now has access to a land base of over 165,000 acres in Western Canada.
