New CEO Appointed at Multiwave Geophysical
Multiwave Geophysical
Multiwave Geophysical has appointed Svein Kjellesvik to the position of CEO. With extensive experience in the seismic industry, this appointment further strengthens Multiwave's senior management team, with Kjellesvik set to play a key role in developing the company through its next phase of growth.
Previously working with Multiwave in an advisory capacity, Kjellesvik has a proven track record within the seismic industry. Having held a number of senior positions within the sector, Kjellesvik has over 25 years experience with Schlumberger and was president of Geco-Prakla's marine seismic division, where he played a significant part in making 4C seismic a viable industrial offering.
"I am extremely impressed with the way Multiwave's founders and supporting team have built a highly successful and reputable seismic company within such a short period of time, and in a very turbulent market environment," commented Kjellesvik. He continued, "Our aim is to build on this foundation, to make the company even stronger and reinforce its position as a leading innovator within the industry."
