The contract, worth approximately £25million over two years, will secure employment for around 200 Wood Group employees at Shell's three onshore sites and in Aberdeen.
Les Thomas, Group Director responsible for Production Facilities said, "Wood Group is delighted to have been re-awarded this significant onshore contract. Shell's decision to reappoint the Group is testimony to our safety record, plus our technical and cost management skills."
Commenting on the contract extension Mark Pattenden, Operations Manager for Northern Systems and Plants, said: "Shell is committed to the North Sea as a strategic heartland, and this means we will continue to improve our safety and efficiency across all operations.
