Creston Resources Makes Gas Discovery in Wyoming
Creston Resources
Creston Resources reports that the Creston 3-2 well in Carbon County, Wyoming initially tested at 1,147,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Creston anticipates that after applying appropriate compression techniques the natural gas production should increase substantially.
Creston's best estimate of the crude oil production is approximately 30 bls. per day.
This well is a joint venture between Creston and BP America Production Co. (formerly British Petroleum). Creston Resources owns a one-eighth interest in the well, as well as in the surrounding leasehold properties. Creston Resources Ltd. estimates that within the surrounding leasehold area it will be possible for BP America Production Co. to drill an additional three wells.
