Integrated Production Services
Integrated Production Services has acquired Nortex Perforating Group Ltd.
Nortex is a cased hole electric line and tubing conveyed perforating company based in Bridgeport, Texas. The acquisition establishes IPS in the Barnett Shale, which has become the largest natural gas field in Texas. Chuck Davis, Nortex's Managing Partner for over twenty years, and his team will remain with IPS to help us grow our service offering in the region.
We believe the recent shift from vertical to horizontal drilling in the Barnett Shale will create opportunities for IPS to differentiate our company by providing our customers with unique production enhancement solutions and by capturing more compelling business opportunities in this high growth market.
IPS is excited about its new partnership and we look forward to continuing to build upon the success achieved by Nortex in the Barnett Shale.
