Oilfield services firm EM&I is launching a ‘major expansion program’, which will see the company create a host of new jobs, EM&I CEO Danny Constantinis revealed.

"Our innovations have enabled us to stay ahead of market requirements, and grow consistently during the recent downturn,” Constantinis told Rigzone.

“We're now embarking on a major expansion program, which will involve appointing new regional general managers and support staff to meet the demand for our services,” he added.

EM&I announced earlier this month that it secured a Master Services Agreement (MSA) with Seadrill, which will help secure jobs in the UK and increase job opportunities in EM&I’s African operations.

EM&I has operational bases in the UK, Brazil, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Nigeria, Angola, Canada and Malta.

The company describes itself on its website as a leading asset integrity business for floating offshore assets such as FPSOs (floating production storage and offloading vessel), drill ships, FSRUs (floating storage regasification units) and rigs.
