Oil & Gas UK Supports Gender Pay Gap Legislation
Industry body Oil & Gas UK has revealed that it supports new legislation that will help close the gender pay gap.

Under new legislation, employers with 250 employees or more will need to publish their annual gender pay data.
“Reporting your gender pay gap provides greater transparency and shines a light on gender inequality in the workplace,” a UK government campaign website stated.
“Understanding the gender pay gap can help prompt companies to take constructive steps to close it,” Deirdre Michie, Oil & Gas UK CEO, said in an organization statement.
